Dr. Jinwen Zhang is a polymer scientist. He received his bachelor’s degree in textile chemistry in 1984 and master’s degree in dye chemistry in 1991 from China, and received his PhD degree in polymer science from University of Massachusetts Lowell in 1997. He is an associate professor at the school of Mechanical and Materials Engineering & Composite Materials and Engineering Center, Washington State University. Dr. Zhang’s research interest lies in the areas of synthesis, processing technology and applications of renewable polymer materials. Dr. Zhang has published more than 60 papers in peer-reviewed journals, one technical book and 10 book chapters.
